>The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck<

Isabella Ann Engler!!!
After 41 weeks in her mother's womb, we were able to welcome the newest member of our family on 6/15 at 1:21 in the afternoon. We are proud to announce the birth of our second healthy girl, Isabella Ann.
Tammy is doing great and Kaylin loves her cute new sister. She is tiny, 6 lbs. 2 oz., and 19.5 inches but looks much like Kaylin when she was born. I'm trying to post some pictures of everyone below.
Thanks to all of the people who were praying vigilanty for Tammy and Isabella. It meant the world to us!

Well, it's finally here...
After much long wait, June 8th is finally here. I didn't think my due date would ever arrive, nor did I think that the baby would stay in there for this long! Even the Dr. seemed really surprised when I showed up for my appointment yesterday (he's the on-call Dr. not my regular guy). He was like, "ummm I can't believe you haven't had this baby yet... It's so low! I mean the head is right there..."
Tell me about it ~ as if I don't notice!
So everyone is totally freaking me out. Like it seriously is just going to fall out with no warning whatsoever. It seems unlikely, but you never know right?!?!
Brian's cousin Lisa had her baby on the 6th (the dreaded day! I was praying all day that the baby wouldn't fall out that day!). She had a boy - just over 8 lbs - Ascher Bleu is his name (really neat name, her maiden name is Scher so they changed the spelling to A-scher - cool huh?!?). All of them are doing well - I'll get a photo of him up here so you all can see.
So hopefully the next post will be a photo of our little one!!! Crossed fingers!

BOOM!
Kaylin and I had a nice day today - we pretty much did nothing. Aren't those the best kinds of days???
First we made crepes (one of her favorites for breakfast), then we watched some videos and played with toys, took a nap (one of my first naps being pregnant this time around!), and that was IT! After Brian got home, I went out with Gina for some Ice Cream (Oberwiess - YUM) and to chat since we probably won't be able to do that for some time after the baby is born.
When I got home Kaylin and I snuggled up in her bed for a cozy little "before we fall asleep" talk. Well, really I was trying to put her to sleep and she kept talking is more like what was going on! She kept patting my belly asking if "the baby kicking?". I said "yep, it's wiggling around in there trying to come out!" and she said "do you hear it momma?" so I asked her "what is it saying to you?", "BOOM!" she says!!! I bet she was right too, it feels like it's saying BOOM sometimes!
